I have the PC 310, Dewalt, and Ridgid. The Dewalt is my fav out of the three because of the LED's. The Porter Cable lives in a Bishop Cochrane base. The Ridgid's adjustment is awesome, but it's (mine at least) really hot to the touch after some use. |

"really hot to the touch after some use." Bearings or brushes? If a motor gets hot it eventually melts the lacquer off the windings and goes Ka-put. |

After running it to cut binding channels, it was uncomfortable to hold. This was outside in 90 degree heat, but it caught me off-guard. In all fairness, I replaced it and haven't used the replacement yet since it's dedicated to my binding jig. |
