Heh, if I build 4 fret guitars, does that mean that I don't have to hammer in frets beyond the neck block anymore? Sounds like a winner!

it took some searching, but here is what a 32 fret guitar looks like:

Not exactly sure what all of the frets are for...perhaps a crude method for intonation??

Ah, the 'joys' of dialup! I'm glad you folks described it so well.

That 32-fret guitar looks like it might be intended to be 'enharmonic'; capable of playing all the keys in something like just intonation, but without the need to swap out frets. Of course, you do have the task of picking the correct one out of three or four that are 'close'.

So the body of an electric guitar is called a board?  Wow, I am learning So Much from this Forum.  And the position markers are just there to make the Finger Board look pretty.  That was a GR8 video

Great delivery! He'd be a great featured speaker (or icebreaker) at a serious master class for players. I wonder how long it would take his audience to catch on.

No wonder I can't play worth a hoot!  I've been trying way too hard!  I'd be willing to bet that he is in the "If you can't play it good, play it loud" camp
