What ever the reason Rick you seem to have been involved with a lot of artist that are in my musical taste so I am glad you did. Here is one more [youtube][http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HGKVVU-QUD8/youtube]

When I was about 8 or 9 years old I met an old gentle man that in his spare time made fiddles and dulcimers, I was enthralled. He helped me build my first dulcimer(Butternut) and it has been a hobby from then on.

Since it is an ampli-coustic I feel the need to post this also(plugged in). To me this also ties in with the earlier thread about the business side of things because you can not buy this type of advertising. It is all about building a tool for the artist. The clarity and sensitivity to technique are impressive IMHO.

I started because I heard Rick was going to get rich. Then I could ask him for money if I was in the
same business and all ;)
Actually I grew up in Queens NYC and started playing bass when I was 10. It was a long trip to 48th
street to get my bass setup then so I just started tinkering. I remember in 83' pulling the frets out of
my P-bass. Sideways as it was the only thing that made sense to me. Little did I know I was doing
it correctly for that bass. Unfortunately it was a maple neck and it just collapsed eventually. I started
working on 48th street in 1986 so was then always around guitars setting them up and such.
When people ask me how long I have been fixing guitars I say 25 years. 20 of them decently.
Best, Evan
