After several careful measurements, I went a bit too crazy while profiling the top using my radius dish. Right now, the side dimensions are 4 1/16" at the tailblock and 3 1/4" at the neck. I still have a bit to go, maybe 1/16", to get the top profiled correctly. I was just wondering what I can expect for sound when I finish this Sapele Dread.

Any thoughts besides the "how do you oversand the sides of your guitar"? :oops:

you may lose a little bit of the bassiness, but otherwise it will sound and play just like normal. This may not even be detectable to the normal player's ear so I wouldnt sweat it. It may end up being a slight bit sloppy fitting in the standard case though.
