Greetings,
I have been using HHG for a month or two and love it. I was lucky enough to score a Hold-Heet pot and use it as a water bath with the little weighted plastic bottles. I've got a cup suspended in It for brushing the stuff. It tends to run between 148- 150 degrees. I read where you can adjust them if you take them apart but is 150 OK? When I check the glue in the bottle it's usually around 148
Thanks
Terry

Terry, 150F is too hot for HHG, anything about 145F can break down the proteins and weaken the glue. I use a baby bottle warmer, bought on eBay for about $10 with a variable thermostat that holds my glue with a degree or two all day.

Terry,
I would take your glue pot apart and adjust it. I keep mine at 140.
It would be nice if those HH pots had an adjustment on the outside.

I had the same issue with my Hold Heat. It only took about 5 deg turn on the pot inside to get it down to 142. My pot was hotter than yours 155+.
