Hi! i have a couple of engel mann tops that have a yellowish color (1 in.) on the outer side (toward bark) when i plane or scrape the area the yellow goes away.. does anyone know what is it? i've asked some people and they said.. linfatic channels, mushrooms, dropped beer... thank you |

Sounds like UV exposure to me but hard to say without a picture. |

I have experienced this as well with englemann. It is some form of oxidation or a reaction to light (UV maybe). If you put a sealer on it soon after final sanding, it seems to go away. |
