Most of the forums I frequent are quiet at the moment. Must be the summer- I am finding myself out and about a lot more these days.

I picked a big sack of okra this morning. bliss We love it around here: boiled, fried, gumbo, MMMmmmm. And the weather is perfect for growing it. Two days last week it hit 105 with a heat index of 116. There are a few days each year that I wonder why I stayed in Arkansas.

It does seem like posting has been way down lately. But I'm sure Lance will come by with some factors disproving this, which is what usually happen when one of these threads start. I'm just kidding around Lance. No harm intended. bliss

This makes me sad though. I got my wisdom teeth out of Saturday, and now I have nothing to do the past few days except watch TV and watch the OLF (no reading cause not much posting has been done, haha).

Seriously though, a lot of people are on vacation; anyone with kids can understand the day can be taken up with slavish duties related to the care of small people; nagging spouses to get off the web and mow the lawn, put up shelves, go and visit Aunt Dotty...

Forums do drop a lot in post counts during the summer....

We had a few vacations planned this month & next, but a lot of them have been cancelled due to high fuel prices, so I guess I'll be sticking around... [headinwall] :mrgreen:

Can I remove that photograph of mush in this thread, now? I can't stand the sight of the stuff... :lol:
