I love the neck treatments. Gorgeous, and probably amazingly easy to play. Is that your true-oil technique?

That is cool Peter. I like the neck joint.

Is the neck satin and the top of the peg head shiny? if so is that 2 separate finishes on the neck?

Wow Peter, that is a real beauty! Love the fluted sound port, and I really need to know how you finished that neck. Is that a stained neck, or just the lighting of the pic? I love satin necks, and this is exceptional! Love the shape too. Big congrats on your latest! I'd hate to be the one to find a case for this one ;)

That begs to be played, even across the series of tubes to my internet...

You get used to looking at exceptional guitars around here, and this one still stands out.

Peter, that's beautiful! I've been wanting to do an asymmetrical design myself for a while now.

What is the inlay on the fingerboard?

I like the way the design seems to be thought out so well--visually and functionally. Back veneer on the headstock and tuner buttons, the angle of the strings from nut to tuner posts, body shape, choice of woods. I would love to hold and play this guitar. Very inspiring.

Thats correct Brock,
satin neck with a glossy headplate. Joe White's doing! [:Y:]

Lovely work, Peter!

Did you make the tuner buttons?

Peter your guitars are always superb but this one is my personal favorite. This is a guitar that I would love to play and own. I also love the shape and I think that this shape blends a cut-away with an acoustic better than what we typically see with acoustic cut-aways. The cut-away does not look like an after thought instead blending perfectly with the rest of the guitar.

Absolutely beautiful!!! [:Y:] [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap]

Wow, that is very nice Peter.

The only thing that would make an asymmetrical guitar look even more cool would be a multi-scale fanned fret design.

Very very nice (as usual) Peter [:Y:]

Excellent design Peter ! I too really like this one as compared to your other guitars !
The redwood top just looks so nice along with the other woods. The cutaway flows into the guitar
beautifully and Joes finish tops it off. Very Nice Work ! [:Y:]

The neck joint was a bit of an experience since it meets the body at an angle but turned out great in the end.

Indeed a great finish job by Joe White! [clap]
If anyone ever wants to farm out a finish, Joe is indeed the man to do it.

Thanks again for such kind comments....

Sweet looking guitar, Peter.
Matt Jacobs did one like that a while back.
He said the neck joint is indeed a challenge.
Hat's off to both of ya!

peter,
i was thinking exactly what rod was thinking. that shape is begging for fan frets.
don't get me wrong. i think it's gorgeous as is. but a multiscale neck would like right at home on that body.
compliments to joe as well. very nice. i love the satin neck and gloss body.

That's pretty, but it looks crooked. Did you photo-shop that or was you mold messed up?

Congrats in finishing it. I'm sure it challenged you. How does she sound?
