I was splitting some brace logs and found one riddled with bearclaw. Side face looks pretty cool, at least for me :)

Well yes the plan is to make larger surface braces, finish them to 600 grit and french polish them. The upgrade charge, some big $, because BC bracing is the ultimate in tone Eat Drink
