Post subject:  good set up dvd?

I've built a few guitars but I'm not happy with my set up skills.
I never did my time in "the trenches" of repair work.
Without that background and not having a mentor that can show me I continue to struggle.
My guitars play OK but I really want to step it up a notch or 2 or 3 or ..... :)
I have followed tutorials here on the forum and I believe I understand the concepts but I still can't seem to get it right.
Is there a definative DVD out there that walks you through beginning to end.

Something like The Complete Idiots Guide to fretwork and Set Ups for acoustic steel string guitars.

The DVD: Adjusting a Steel String Guitar, by Kent Everett is a good one. I've got it and and have watched it over the last year or so about 3 time, each time I watch it I get more out of it.

Kind of off topic but do you use a fret press for your fretting? I found it makes it so much easier.

I have the stew mac fret press caul and insert that I use in a small drill press.
I look at each fret to be sure they are seated properly

The Stewart Macdonald dvds are pretty good. The 2 part acoustic guitar maintenance dvds are quite good for learning whats needed to set up acoustics and there fretting videos are quite good...Mike
