Had a customer request and thought you may like to see a rosewood / bubinga rosette . I made the tiles and attached them to a substrate. I used Mahogany and once I was happy I inlaid them into the top . I then routed in the binding to frame the wood.

Very tasteful, John, with a touch of Martin.

I did something similar recently, but used curly maple.

I have 2 new guitars I will be necking next week. One has a 3d inlay done by Tracy Cox. It is amazing. I will post pix

That was a top I have for 2 years . It is Sitka and it is a nice top indeed
