These guitars were ordered by the same client! Also he asked if he could help with the building process. So I let him help me at every phase of the construction . I made sure he was happy with his work & I left it there. I just made sure it was good for tone & stability !! I did nothing to cover little mistakes -etc... He paid me well & got two great sounding guitars with the experience of working on them himself! Plus they're totally different guitars. One is Salvaged Cedar & Hormigo(Zootman) with a raised f.b. & radial bracing & 5 soundports! The other is a "Hauser" copy with a sinker Redwood top and Ebony B&Sides. He as I and others that have heard & played them like them both ! It was a challence to do both at the same time & have a never worked with wood student(client) helpout ! Plus he wanted the thin-satin finish-which I like also Mike ![]() |

George; the sinker redwood guitar sounds great! loud, balanced &clear. And it's developing quickly. I'm amazed with it. the top ended up being 2.4mm center to 1.9mm edges Hauser/Torres 7 fan layout . braces 3mm high x 4mm wide 1mm bridge patch. 2 cutoff bars 3mmx3mm Mike |
