Has anyone here experience with this? I read a quick blurb about it in my HHG research and want to try it, but I wanted to check with knowledgeable builders first.

Thanks.

Anything, and I do mean anything that you can shove in them pours, dose not shrink and stays put is a valid pour filler. That would include HHG.

It will work but HHG shrinks a lot, which will mean multiple applications. If the finish wears through things might get a little sticky, unless you treat it with Alum. To be honest i think that there are quicker and easier solutions.

Thanks for the answers all. Michael, can you elaborate on treating HHG with alum?

Not really. I haven't tried it but the addition of 1 or 2% (?) Alum in the mix supposedly makes HHG waterproof or at least more water resistant.
It may well be the stuff that Torres was using:

I don't really fill mahogany necks, I just spray more lacquer on necks than boxes.
