Hey guys, I've got an interesting issue I've never seen before, and was curious if I could once again tap into the collective knowledge and experience of my sawdust-making brethren. A gentleman who owns a Takamine I've been servicing for a time has had a new issue arise. It seems that, with his guitar perfectly in tune, he's getting "warble" like one usually hears when two strings are not in tune with each other. On a single string. On all strings. Weird, huh? I'm thinking it's the strings, because that's the only thing that has changed since it was not making the sound. He's using some coated strings or other. I've never heard of that happening with string choice before, but I've never heard of it happening before period. Thoughts? Theories? All appreciated. Thanks in advance, fellas! AKV |

I am with Fillipo here . I have had new strings do some weird things. |
