They sure look nice, I would consider if they had .250" shafts. That way I could use a standard 1/4" bushing reamer. Chuck |

I saw these the other day and can't decide if I like the look or not. They do have the apperance of nice tuners though. Awaiting reviews of em. |

18/1 ratio. that's good for me. i like the gotoh 510's, i think they're 18/1. i pick up gits i built before with the schaller ratio, and i don't likey. edit: i think i might have the 21/1 ratio. highly recommended! modern looking, but work nice. my default tuners, for now. |

What I can't figure out is why the weigh so much. 221g while Waverlys with ebony knobs are 133g. Think I'll send them an email. I'd give them a try if that's a typo. |

It's got to be a typo. Cast aluminum bases have to be lighter than the steel ones. Ebony knobs are probably a bit lighter than the steel ones. Heck 221 grams is almost as heavy as full size Gotoh 510's with metal buttons. I'd be shocked if they weigh that much. And then yes that would be a deal breaker. Report back on what you find out Ken. If that is a typo I'm gonna order a set as well. |

I really like the look of those. 221 grams... so like 3 pounds in tuners? I cant see that either for those. |

They're really well made, IMHO very much influenced by Nicolo Alessi, but of course much more affordable. Designed in Switzerland, no word of where they're made on the box but at this price it's a steal. Difference with Waverlies is bigger footprint, aluminum base and a brass gear (instead of bronze for Waverlies). Weight with ferrule is 27g. Design is a matter of taste, personally I love it (do I qualify as Euro since I've been living in the US since the end of the last millennium?). I find the larger ebony button easier to turn than the equivalent Waverlies. EDIT: hole diameter should be .395" |

When I bought some sets, in the box were a "strange" little document, like a customhouse text, that let me think it is made in Korea. They are excellent tuners, very light, smooth and with a much modern look that I much prefer than the waverly's classic look  I used them both for electric an classical guitars with the same satisfaction.

You could also pass for Québécois, since none of us can tell the difference in your French, and Maine is almost the same place from this distance. |
