Hey, I'm just finishing up this guitar. It is a commission but the purchaser has given me 100% artistic license with it, hence the question. Which if these two tunners would you go with? Here's a picture if the guitar in full then two if the front and back of the headstock. I don't think I can go wrong with either if them but thought I'd ask for some help. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I'm a traditionalist so I'd definitely say the nickel/pewter colored ones. |

With the black knobs, I'd definitely use the darker tuner metal. To me, the gold is jarring against the rest of the headstock. |

Agree with Gene, not the gold ones! Chuck |

I think the black Chromes complement the color scheme very well.... |

If you're going ascetic, try Gotoh Stealth. |

Fortunately, shaky spelling doesn't correlate to shaky hands. Nice work on that guitar! I like the black tuners, too. |

Of course, if you want athletic, those yellow ones look like they'd complement a nice tennis ball yellow! ![]() Like the gunmetal and chrome, too |

Cosmos, though to me, I'm not sure about 510's in this instance.... their contribution doesn't grab me. Unless using EVO, I think nickel open back tuners would look great on this guitar (...or maybe the new black buttoned Shertlers) What? ... you drilled already? ....never mind! |

Right, ok finding the ascetics in ones heart....Quick and easy...heads or tails it be. Flip the coin and when its in the air you will hear your heart speak to you... If you don't hear it..go see your Dr. for some of that white mans medicine. Now if it more than a this or that answer as in multiple choice...well yo might wanna try taking up darts...very relaxing me hear tell. blessings ![]() |

Wow, those pictures suck! iPhone's really don't take great pictures..... OK, so I'm also leaning toward the cosmo black (gunmetal). Now, I originally had these in mind and I was going to make BRW buttons for them, but I'm sort of running out of time. Mind you I do have 2 weeks to get the buttons done. Fretwire is standard nickle.... I think with the BRW buttons, the black will really work well and the gold still would be somewhat.... ![]() I think I'll have to set up to make buttons now. Don't think it'll be to hard... |

If you study the history of languages there is no such thing as incorrect spelling. What ever develops as common usage becomes the way to do it. Rod and I like to be creative. The dark set. Tom |

I'm going with the darker ones as well. The gold works because the body and rosette have tones of gold but the gold of the tuners is a bit jarring. You might look at ebony bridge pins to visually anchor some black at that end of the guitar. Awesome guitar by the way!! |
