FWIW I have been able to find that stuff locally at a place called Main Sheet Metal. It's been a long time since I ordered a piece cut but they always had it in stock, whatever size you want they charge by square foot plus number of cuts, plus I think a small charge to smooth the edges out so it isn't deadly. Maybe keep calling sheet metal or general metal working shops...

Filippo,
Check McMaster Carr http://www.mcmaster.com/#catalog/116/405/=akvjd0
Wider than you want but a sheet metal shop could shear it for you. You could probably even sell the extra here.

Go to McNichols.com and reference item 1820433026. It comes in 19" widths @ 30 gauge.

I use the Doolin style bender, but gave up on the perforated stainless. It works fine without, just don't wet the wood very much. Don't need to anyway.

I used perforated SS in the beginning, but didn't like it. It took too much of a set, esp. for a cutaway. I don't remember what gauge it was or where I got it, but it was the thinnest I could find.

I just went through my records. The stuff I had was 26 gauge (0.18") from McMaster.

What you building Filippo? The Doolin style bending jig? If so, just so you know, I don't use perferated plate or SS, I'm just using spring steel and have no issues.

I know we often give information without being asked for it, so I'm just staying the coarse ;)

So, care to share what you're building.... :D
