I was at one of the wood suppliers his morning to pick up a sheet of bending plywood when some guy came in wanting to sale some old sitka
boards. To make a long story short I got 52' of 3/4" X 9" , 3-14' and 1-10' board for $60. I'm pretty sure I can get a few tops from this stuff.
Not sure where I'm going to store it just yet. idunno :)

That's what I thought too.
It's funny because I was looking around at tools when I heard the guy say Sitka and that got my attention.
Good thing I have room left on my plastic. :P

What a deal. And it looks well quartered.

I'd be willing to pay $65 + shipping.

Great catch Chris!

Well quatered and tight grain. The only potential issues I can imagine would be color uniformity (minor costmetic issue) and runouts (a more important one...)

Let us know how it turns out!

Well played, Chris! [:Y:] Looks like you even got a little bear claw, too.

Nice score! If you feel like cutting any harp guitar sets (say, one board 44", other 22") I'll take one, or two if the sizes work out for it (3 slices, cut the middle in two for the short halves).
