I didn’t want to spend the money on a new router so I decided to use my old RotoZip to cut binding channels. I added the height adjustment because the RotoZip base isn’t worth using. I saw the arm design here, the steel rod gives the arm lots of movement. The doughnut is made from Mahogany, I’m thinking about using something plastic instead. Aside from the RotoZip, bits and bearings the rest of the parts cost me $40. Ten more than I wanted to spend but I used some Bronze bushings here and there. Scott |

Nice rig. I have some plans for one sort of like that I got from Bryan Galloup Schooll in 01 or so. I have never built it, but now with limited shop space I am and attach to a wall. Great job. |

Hmmmm......looks sorta familiar..... ![]() ![]() ![]() Actually, the design is from Dan Fobert. He originally posted the design on the LINT website. Cheap and easy to build and works plenty well for me! ![]() Here's the link. Look undere Articles to find the writeup and a plan. http://www.lint.org/index2.html |
