I haven't used ZipFlex on a dread yet, but here's a picture of .064 on an OM.

With the ZipFlex Group Buy going on, what sizes are you all ordering for the guitar top? I am trying to decide between the 0.064" and the 0.079". I have some 0.064" that I am leaning to use on a future parlor size guitar, but on a Dred, is it too thin looking? Does the 0.074" look to gaudy? I know it comes down to personal preference, but I'd like to hear from you all. So, you guys that are ordering, and those of you who have used it in the past, what size is your preference? The pic might be a little bit misleading. There is a maple .020 purfling on both sides of the ZipFlex and one .020 black fibre purfling on the inside next to the soundboard. Chris.

Personally I like the .047 zipflex. I used it on this guitar. I wouldn't go more than the .064 on a dred. To me it looks too gaudy. But that is just my taste. Attachment: DSC_0005 (Large).JPG Attachment: DSC_0008 (Large).JPG
