Here's a few photos of my latest build. Nothing too fancy this time....OM size in plain walnut. Sitka top, Koa binding. I made the rosette with cut-offs of the walnut with an abalone inlay. Wipe on poly over shelac finish. I tried the drywall compound method of pore filling this time. It works quite well but pore filling still sucks duh

Its for a friend so I built it a bit heavy in case their young kids get at it. Even so...its has great tone and its quite loud, especially in the mid-range. I hope the bass and trebels open up a bit as its played in, but I'm quite pleased with this one

looks great, but did you do a french polish and then wipe on the poly or did you just brush/wipe/spray on the shellac. The finish looks really nice

Really nice!

How'd the walnut bend?
I wanna try that wood someday,
before it's on the Lacey act.
By the way,
how did you get the guitar stand attached to the wall in the last photo?

Real nice!
I've got a Walnut/Englemann with Silkwood binding in the works at the minute - sides bent like butter!

Very Nice indeed!
I love Walnut!
it's very underestimated for a guitar tone wood.
It does smell great when bending & sanding.
Great guitar !
What's next?
