Anyone use Mi-Si pickups on an ukulele? |

Yup. Put them in a couple of ukes. Very light, no battery bag and they sound great. You've seen one of them at the NCAL at DaSilva's. Not plugged in though. To install I drilled a hole each side of the saddle slot to run about 1/4" of the end past the saddle, ramped the transition and made sure the saddle and slot are dead flat. Steve |

They are my number 1 choice in a uke and are the preferred one by many builders. |

I've installed dozens of them in ukes with no problem. I'm pretty surprized there are not knock off models on the market already. The capacitor charge is pretty cool. I use them with Fishman transducers rather than the Baggs, for no particular reason than that I have a long history with Fishman products and they work well for me. It makes the Mi-Si cost more though. Easy to install volume controls on the Mi-Si too. They will give you the simple directions, and the volume works great. Good luck! |
