Hey gang - What methods/products would you recommend for stabilizing a burl drop-top? I've heard of using a LOT of CA, Minwax Wood Hardener, submersing in a 50/50 mix of white glue and water... Cheers, Jon |

You need vacuum to really stabilize wood properly. Minwax wood hardener is a good product. |

I tane epoxy for laminating GFK, Kevlar etc. The same stuff they use for building airplanes, propellers, etc. cheers, Alex |

system 3 epoxy no 2 grade . thinned with alcohol helps stabilize veneers |
