It's possible to change the 12" radius of a cheap Washburn acoustic guitar to a 20"? I know the method, I'm just wondering about the convenience and structural capability. |

sure it is possible! the only thing you might want to consider is, there is a slight risk of sanding all the way through your fret markers, as the removed material will originate down the center of the neck. but i would bet that the dot markers are thick enough, and besides, it is easy and cheap to redo those as well |

From going 12" to 20" you're changing the chordal height by about .015. That will be off the very crown of the radius. |
