Fascinating discussion with William "Grit" Laskin.
Had the privilege to meet him at the Montreal Guitar show this summer and attend his excellent inlay presentation.

Your right Chris. Grit is a true gentleman and his creations are something to behold. He has been a innovator in this craft. Sometimes we forget those who took the risk and jumped into areas of building now taken somewhat for granted.

I took particular note of his comment those on the top of their game in building are not sufferning even in this economy. I have had the pleasure to work in one such shop and the Boss is a great friend who has always been there for me in need of help.

Thanks for the post. It's an excellent interview. Grit's been a friend and mentor for many years.
