He founded the training School in 1986 & Luthier supplies in 1987. Timeless’ wood supply provides a one stop shop solution for builders of string fretted instruments. In addition to a deep selection of traditional and alternative woods, Timeless is also a supplier of Lacey Act compliant Inlay Shell & Mahogany for Canadians. Add to that Custom cutting for specialty sizes on request and the hardware for electric and acoustic instruments and you need not look any further for your next build. The Luthier Training Course is a modular system so students can take a basic construction course, followed by area of their interest. The basic Acoustic Guitar Training has been a foundational step for students to build, go into repair, open stores, be road technicians, or be employed in the music industry. The courses prepare the serious entrepreneur or the hobbyist to design and construct high quality instruments, incorporating sound, playability, and aesthetics. David has repaired since 1974 & built since 1980. His skills include consultation for construction of string and fretted instruments. David builds custom commissions from his extensive supply of new and aged wood, some dating back to the 1960s. In his building experience, David has used different methods of building as well as a variety of alternative woods. Well thank you all It is interesting to read the posts. I will contribute what I can . I seem to run out of time in a day .. & computer takes second to a chisel !
