first one with Gore inspired bracing...sounds fantastic..louder than my other guitars and has great sustain...has compensated nut and the saddle will be compensated after settling up a day or so ....finish is Em 6000 over z poxy with one coat of z poxy on soundboard. |

Nice looking guitar. Bracing looks quite a lot stiffer across the body than Trevor's Falcate design. Good to see people playing with the ideas in the book. As I remember, Trevor says at the end that if the book encourages people to have their own ideas and try different things, then it has done it's job. |

Looks beautiful Wes!! ![]() The top bracing is very intriguing too. How did you handle the carbon fiber under the x braces where they cross? Would love to hear a sound clip once she settles in. ![]() |

thanks ...the bindings are amazon rosewood...I just overlapped the carbon fiber tow once wetted it works in just fine, on these braces I did radius the bottom. the braces are appox. .350 high at the x the lower ones are .310 and .275 in the center at the highest point, all braces .250 wide. |

Braces are 2 piece laminated Adirondack spruce bent on a mold with a blanket |
