So Springfield Grizzly tent sale was today. Anybody get any scores? |

Well, lots of lookers and no takers huh.... Well then, here is what I got: New finish gun- $25 Air System attachment for my buffing machine- $1.50 Table Top Lathe- $30 Replacement parts for broken/missing parts of lathe- $30 Chuck for lathe- $45 That's a total of $131.50. All that would have costed $395.00 new! The grizzly tent sale in Washington is in a few weeks. If any body goes to that, you should post your scores. And here's a tip, if you NEED something, go early. If you WANT something (like I did with the lathe) go late and make a crazy low offer. They may just take it. |

Too far to travel for me....but the American Association of Woodturners annual symposium was in town (San Jose) this weekend, so I went along to that and scored a fantastic deal on a Robust lathe (Sweet 16 model with 2HP upgraded motor and a bunch of other extras) from the vendor show hall. Got it back to my shop earlier this evening and tried it out - it's a beauty!! ![]() Cheers, Dave F. |
