Am I imagining that LMI supplies a brace cutting jig?

If they do I can't find it anywhere on their site

Luthier's Cool Tools has plans for a jig that is used with a router. Haven't used it myself but it looks pretty "cool".

I've tried all sorts of jigs for this task, yet none are better nor faster than what you'll see in the video above.

If I am not mistaken when you turn the brace over there is no line to work to, do you mark both sides ?

I used to mark both sides, but honestly, I don't even mark anything now. I just go for it, check against my template(s) and adjust as I go. Takes about 15 seconds per brace.... The best part is that I've never ruined a brace this way, but I cannot count how many I've ruined with jigs using the router table, or table saw. Ugh....

Keep it simple!
