Hey everyone, I'm working on my last guitar and am retiring after a short rodeo. Ive never really got the finish thing down and since I'm quitting there is no sense in learning. I'm looking to get a micro burst around the whole guitar like what Pederson guitars does (formerly abyss guitars). Anybody know of a finisher that can do that? Closer is better, and I'm up in Spokane, WA. Thanks! |

Because that is not one of his guitars. Sorry I don't know anyone who does finishing near you. But given that there are so many luthiers in northern California, you should be able to find someone on the left coast if not up by you. |

You did, but it's OK. Maks, Why are you quitting anyway? You made some nice guitars. |

It's been fun, LOTS of fun but working two jobs and doing this on the side, there is barely any time left for family. And the other big one, I don't have time to play my guitars. So my wife and I decided that it's best I leave it aside for now. I've tried to convince her that I can make time for everything but I couldn't ![]() ![]() Anyways, my studio is collecting dust and my guitar playing skills are fading (not really, cuz I barely have any) but I want to keep playing and recording as much as I can, and I can do that and have plenty of time with family. It works out best that way |

I try to speak to my wife for at least an hour a month. Kids are another story. I spend loads of time with them. Good luck and maybe the future will allow more time for guitar building! |

I hope so too. Dude Tony, that's like 2 minutes a day! |

2 minutes a day isn't enough? I give the kids about 3-4 hours a day. Guitars get 2-3. Wife gets what's left. Seems fair to me! Lol |
