Its been a while in the making but she is finally finished. I'm actually embarrassed to say how loooong it actually took...nonetheless, its done now!!
This will be one several Cornerstone "Master Series" guitars that I will be offering over the next year or so. Let me know what you think.

Hey Peter,
I love this one and that Brazilian -- insane!!!.

A couple thoughts as I have been in the midst of significant aesthetic changes to my instruments over the past 6 months (I will be updating my site in a few more months with the first of my "new" designs). In other words, I have been focusing on refining aesthetics lately. I really like the classical style soundhole fretboard termination with the bound fretboard above all other styles. I think this looks great when the fretboard binding is the same species and grain as the fretboard - so that the purfling is highly noticeable (like you've done on this guitar). Anyway, I think that style would work beautifully with your instruments and you might try it just once and see if you like it. A second consideration is tuners - I have really fallen in love with Keith Robson tuners. They are expensive but on a special guitar like this it might be worth thinking about.

I especially love the execution and design of the rosette - absolutely exquisite. The binding/purfling/bevel are exceptional and the wood choices are perfect. I REALLY love how this instrument looks. Very, very well done!!!

No wonder it took so long, it looks exquisite.
Really like the inlay at the end of fret board.
If I could make one critisism, for a guitar that fancy I think you should make the truss rod cover more decorated and maybe darker wood.
Thanks for the inspiration. If I ever make something as well made as that I will be a happy bunny.

I am amazed. To a degree that does not often occur. Beautiffull!

What number is this one?...for a little perspective.

That is the most amazing set of brazilian I have ever seen. Where does one find a set like that?

I stand in awe of the craftsmanship shown here. I wish I could have been a fly on the wall during construction. So many questions..

Wow! That came together nicely. Is that a radial rosette? Very subtle. It's hard to tell, but is the FB faux bound and the shell inlayed?

As usual Peter, beautiful workmanship. That's an eye catcher.

Cheers,
Danny

Tony, it does look like Madagascar but there is something subtle in there that is different to my eyes. Peter has it as braz and I think he posted it has the smell too.

Here is a pic in the white. It has this golden/orangeish thing to it that doesn't really occur in mad. I've seen a closer hue on some cocobolo.

Beautiful guitar! :D The neck and heel design really caught my eye. Is it walnut-maple-bloodwood?

Danny, the rosette is not radial but its segmented. The shell is inlaid into the fretboard.
