Post subject:  What size Allen wrench for a Chinese Fender truss rod?

A friend of mine has bought his son a used Fender CD 60 SB Chinese made acoustic as a starter guitar, and wishes to adjust the truss rod to get rid of excessive relief.

Does anybody know off hand what size Allen wrench is required for these Chinese guitars ? Imperial, metric or what ? Guy doesn't want to buy a full set ...

Last time I bought full set of metric and US from Lowe's it was pretty cheap. Your friend could take the intrument into the hardware store and get what fits, but it seems like a pain.

Murray: If you can see the hex opening, see if you can size a peice of wood to fit across two flats. If you can get a good fit, measure the section that fit the hex across the flats to get the size. Have never done this but it should work or maybe some itteration. I would guess it is metric.
