My first guitar.
After I finished planing my soundboard to thickness, it warped. I can take pictures later tonight. But both sides warped in the same direction, and it was book matched. So I believe this is a result of me removing more wood from one face than the other.
I have another sound board glued together, as well as a back, and neither of them warped. The dehumidifier doesn't indicate that there was a change in humidity. But I not completely ruling it out.
So Questions.
1.) Would removing more wood from one side than the other cause this.
2.) If this was caused by removing more material from one face than the other, and I'm a bit to to thin (.095") to fix it. Will it return to it's normal shape? Or am I better of using soundboard number two? {purchased with the foresight that I'd muck something up.}
