After almost 15 years, a number of guitars, selling out shop. Item by item or the whole thing. Due to health problems, lack of fire in the belly, and want to spend more time fly fishing below the house and play more golf, I have had enough. If I decide want to build later, will do a downsize shop. If interested on stuff PM me. Will list on the ad page of all the tools, jigs and fixtures later. NO SHIPPING OF BIG STUFF. IE band saw, joiner, table saw, 18" open end drum sander, or other stuff. |

What do you have in the way of sharpening system? I need some good stones and such for sharpening planes and chisels. Are you selling anything along those lines? |

Hey Stan, sorry you are quitting, it's a loss to lutherie. On the other hand your sinuses will thank you, your handicap will go down, and I bet the local fish are scared to death. |

Sad to see you getting out, Stan. Change is a part of life and here's hoping this one brings you great happiness. I'm not looking to buy an entire shop, but I might be interested in some cutting tools (chisels, scrapers, planes). Also files and high quality measuring tools. Will send you a PM as well. Good luck, |

Stan, sorry to hear that it's quitting time for you...I understand though, as I hit "50" tomorrow...there's only so much time we have and how we spend it is important. So, do you have a list of stuff you're selling? I'd be interested in some of it, I'm sure! |

I am posting the shop stuff on the ad page. I have been here since almost day one and want to respect the job Lance has done in making various pages available to us. This is a hard thing for me, so am not doing this with any enthusiasm at all. I in fact fought with this decision all night and wife not sure doing the right thing, but something I feel is best. Please bear with me as I want to really sell it all as a unit. I can say you won't get all I have to sell in one bundle for less or even if buy stuff a piece at a time. I don't expect to make a bunch and hope to get enough to buy a used Tracker style boat. Posting the stuff in a few minutes. I suck a pictures and do not have a digital camera. The stuff is used, but it all are in good (if not great working condition) Would have to set up stuff again probably after a move, but easy stuff. |

Stan, way back at the beginning of the OLF you were a great influence on me, with your altruism and general good guy attitude to those around you. I could manage without the golf, but I too wish I could spend more time fly-fishing! All the best Stan, don't be a stranger. Colin |

Stan good luck to you my friend. Your one of the most generous people I know. Fly-fishing sounds awesome and what better way to get rid of frustrations than flinging a golf club. ![]() |
