I have an early build that was not constructed in a humidity controlled environment. The back flopped. Years later, I now am really sick of looking at a flat or even concave back. Is there any way to reestablish the arch on the back without removing it? Thanks. |

nothing permanent RH control during the building is the most overlooked issue when starting to build. You would have to take off the back remove and reglue the braces. |

I'll second John's comment about RH control, especially when bracing tops and backs. I've had one braced top go concave before I joined it to the sides, and another develop a crack after closing the box because the RH was too high when I braced them. I ended up not using the first top and having to remove and replace the second one. I learned my lesson the hard way and now am very conscious of the RH when bracing. |

That's what I was afraid of. Luckily I haven't had this problem since I started controlling RH. |
