C'mon Todd, you can come and bask in the adulation of all of us you've helped. Hey, at the very least, I owe you a lunch for all I've picked up. I'll happily spring for John Hall too.

I plan on attending for the first time. As a beginner Luthier I am really looking forward to the seminars and meeting many of you. See you there.

I will be doing a fret presentation with Erick Coleman, and am also on a panel regarding
the business end of things. As I always tell people there are so few opportunities
to learn from each other in person, in a group setting as builders and repair folk. Any chance to go to one of these
events should be looked at as a tremendous learning experience. Looking forward to seeing some of you!

Thanks Alan. If I am up to a 2 hour drive with a 3 and 6 year old, I may make the trip.

I will be missing it this year after attending the last two. Disappointed doesn't begin to describe my feelings right now. Having so many full on professionals in one place at one time makes for some of the most educational conversations over the great food at breakfast, lunch, supper or evening cocktails at the Depot Bar off campus. Having all the great vendors on hand and being able to sort through hundreds of back/side and top sets is almost reason enough to attend. Tool vendors? How about Chris and the gang from LMI along with others with the latest greatest stuff to tempt the credit card! Add the short jaunt to the Martin factory for a "special, all access" factory tour and the Martin museum and you have a vacation worthy trip. How about the great workshops where the inevitable "my way" "your way" "this way" "that way" discussions kick up a roomful of "ego dust" and we are talking full on WWF smackdown!! Just kidding! It really is the best dang thing a beginner, advanced or pro luthier can attend on this side of the US. Meeting up with folks you see mentioned here on the forum and in our favorite trade mags is again, worth the price of admission alone. And don't forget the Saturday night auction with tables and tables of luthier goodies along with the funniest auction banter you will ever encounter from Dick Boak, Grit Laskin and David Nichols. Now I am even more disappointed. :(
