OK, makers & repair guys in south central Kansas... A local bar owner has decided to put on a "Guitar Show" in mid June. I talked to her this afternoon, and I guess she'll let anyone have a booth - even local players looking to sell off gear. I told some local guitar builders might be interested as well. I have no new work, but I have plenty of projects made from used parts, etc., and other gear I cabbaged onto, and would like to sell. So I requested a table. She said she'd hold "a spot" for me... Her idea of security is pretty lax, but maybe I'm just paranoid from all those big guitar shows I used to attend in Texas back in the 80's when folks were wandering around with briefcases full of hundred dollar bills. Hopefully they will do it again in 10 or so years when I'm good enough to sell. . . |
