I just received this new blend for instruments. It can be wiped on or sprayed. I will be spraying over their Furniture finish . And using it as a stand alone finish. I'll post my experiences with it soon! If it's at all like the other finishes they make we have a winner on our hands! It states on the label that it is " Outstanding scratch & mar resistant" Hey-Green is good! Mike |

The quart of gloss furniture finish I had is pretty much gone and I've been generally happy with the results. I suppose I'll try some of the luthier blend next. Look forward to hearing what you think. |

I'm assuming that the luthiers blend will be esoteric enough that it won't be stocked at the usual carriers of their products. Can you order it direct? |

It seems Dan no longer works there. My email was answered by Lenore (lrenaud@vermontnaturalcoatings.com). It is possible to order from their web site (or any retailer) by ordering "Heirloom Wipe-On PolyWhey" and specifying the 'Luthier blend' in the comment section of your order. |

Interesting - I had emailed Dan and he usually was very quick to reply so was wondering why I hadn't heard from him. I'm sure I'll get an answer in due time. |
