Here is a quick video I made today of one of my Brazilian rosewood concert classical guitars. This is one of the guitars I will be taking to the Healdsburg Guitar Festival in Santa Rosa,California Aug. 9-11 this year. In the video I talk about the materials I used and even play the guitar so you can hear how it sounds. If you happen to be in the area please come by my booth at the festival and see the guitar in person. Be sure and check out the official site for the show. http://guitarfestival.lmii.com/ I hope to see everyone in California in August. |

Great looking and sounding guitar, Robbie. Did you use the Romanillos bracing and doming schemes on this one? Congrats, Max |

Sometimes I'm just not sure how to comment on some of the builds presented on this forum. I've built 4 or 5 and struggle through error after error until I get a guitar-like object that actually plays OK. Then I see a guitar like this and what do I say? Nice job? Good work? Beautiful tone? Great playing? It all seems so trite and trivial when seeing such a beautiful instrument. I'm left speechless with how beautiful every aspect of that guitar is Robbie and hope that saying something like 'good job' can convey how much I appreciate your skill and sharing your guitars on the forum. So "good job" and "nice tone" and "great playing." |
