Thought some of you might be interested to know about a cool opportunity that's come up for me. I've been selected to exhibit a few of my instruments in an art show to benefit the Community School of Music and Arts here in Ithaca. The six-week-long juried show will run from Oct 4th through Nov 15th and feature the work of several local artists. There will be two receptions during the course of the show; at one of these, a guitarist will be playing my instruments.

Along with the three instruments I'll be exhibiting, I'll have a digital photo frame showing a repeating slide show of the construction of a guitar I'm working on right now (there will also be a pair of headphones connected to the digital photo frame, through which people can listen to soundclips of the instruments on display). I'll be adding images to the slide show as I complete more work on the guitar. Near the end of the six-week show, I'll exhibit the completed, or nearly completed, guitar in the flesh.

I'm thrilled to have my instruments be a part of this show, because it's great to be able to contribute to the fundraising effort for this vital arts organization, and because it's gratifying to have an opportunity to exhibit the instruments as art alongside the work of other artists in various media.

No expectations here, of course, but if any of you should feel inspired to help with this fundraising effort, and show your support for my work at the same time, you are most welcome to make a donation to the Community School of Music and Arts. Just click on the "donate" button at the top of the page (second link above) and indicate that you are sponsoring me. Thanks!

Way cool. Todd. It's great getting recognition from outside the music community.

Good on you, Todd. I will be making a donation on your behalf in the AM, about to start cooking. I've enjoyed your adjustable neck thread, good stuff BTW. Timo
