On a wedge type body how are you handling the neck to body joint??

Why would it be any different?

Same at the top, angled laterally at the heel. I presume this is what you are asking about weslewis?

Almost exactly the same. Just bevel the heel cap to match the back slope.

here is what I did...in retopping this 12 string that I am working on, I induced a slight wedge so I enhanced the wedge to give it a try, that's when I started thinking about the neck joint, I can see angling the mortise when building a wedge to match the tenon , problem is the neck block is in place and the mortise is already perpendicular to the previous top and the bolt holes are already drilled so if I cut the tenon like I normally do on a table saw at 90 degree angles things wont match up right...my plan is to use a taper jig and cut the tenon offset , if this makes any sense.....
so I was just wondering how you guys were tackling this angle during the build...

Sounds like you need to cut the tenon at the same angle as the wedged top ...

actually it was no big deal...I made a ply extension for my incra mitre guage cut the tenon at 2 degrees off set then set my table saw blade at a 5 degree angle and finished like normal...

On a new build, it's definitely easier to put the wedge on the back rather than the front, then all my usual tooling continues to work. Just need to finish off with the angled heel cap.
