It don't have to be competition grade, just Snakewood.

Seems like if you want one, they're your go-to guys.

I did some glue tests, as that guitar had snakewood binding around the body and neck, as well as a snakewood fretboard and headplate.

All the test joints had glue failure except the ones that I wiped down with acetone.

Wipe on direction only and use a fresh part of the paper towel each wipe.

Darren Hipner is selling a pair of them on ebay. I believe he noted that they came from Gilmer.

All my tests were done with Titebond Original.

I just found a scenario that worked with it, as it's my go-to glue.
