Post subject: | Unibond Question |
In the past, I've used West System, fish glue and Titebond for laminating sides. Recently I've begun thinking about using Unibond for that application. So, to those who have used it or are still using it, this question: Which type do you recommend--Unibond One or Unibond 800? Thanks in advance. |

There was a recent thread on this, I think a "Unibond 800" search would find it. I use Uni 800 and like it, It dries like glass. Plenty of open time. Others preferred epoxy. I think they all work fine in experienced hands. Downside, the resin has a limited shelf life. Probably 6 mo at room temp so if you are not doing a lot of sides you may waste some. It was recently reformulated and I heard concern about curing times but I've been OK with the new stuff. I usually leave things clamped up 24 hrs. |
