I'm preparing a coco set and as I run it through the thickness sander some high spots are causing uneven oxidation removal. Does this need to be dealt with or will the finish even it out?Image

You are likely going to sand and scrape after bending and putting the body together, so I wouldn't worry about it much ... just let the body sit around some and it will all oxidize back ... plus when you bend you will make some of the resins rise and bake on too .. that will change the colour some as well ..

Yep, nothing to worry about.
