Any one know of any good resaw services in the GTA? Likely just for WRC, spruces, and some QS white oak. Thanks! Alex |

Alex: Very nice excuse to buy a new band saw suited for resawing....!! Then you could hang out your own shingle. Tom |

An endless parade of luthiers, digital calipers in hand, complaining that the third slice of their priceless billet is .003mm thinner on one end. ![]() Floor space is pretty tight in my shop, and I'll be adding a shaper this year to crowd an already cramped area. If I could justify a band saw for my cabinetry business, I'd figure out a way to make it fit. I will find a way to fit a drum sander somewhere, though! ![]() For now, I'll be happy to pay someone else to do the resawing for me. Alex |

GTA? I don't think I seen a wood shop anywhere in Los Santos or Liberty City... maybe Niko Bellic could hook you up. |

Alex, I recently picked up a 20" Craftex 3hp bandsaw that can resaw all day long so if you want to resaw some of your wood and you don't mind a trip to Oakville, I'm sure we can work something out |

Thanks for the offer, Mick, and I'll probably take you up on it! I'm doing the semi annual lumber rack clean out, and have found some nice wide QS oak boards, and likely a few more. No problem coming out to Oakville. I can take a side trip to Exotic Woods, as well. This probably won't be for a while, Mick, but I appreciate the offer! Alex |

So you are cleaning out your wood rack and along the way you will stop at Exotic Woods? Sounds like you took lessons from my wife's shoe management. |

Alex, if you are stopping at Exotic Woods, you may as well bring your wood with you. They cut up a cocobolo billet for me before; cost was $35. gregor |
