Post subject: | How do you remove wet-sand slurry? |
Before I was converted, I wet sanded some waterbased finish and got that awful white powder slurry onto parts of the rosewood fretboard. Is there any trick to clean it off? The neck is pretty much complete (fretted ,inlayed all glued up) and ready to be bolted on. thanks, Dave |

I don't take the masking tape off my fingerboard until after buffing... |

An eraser? Fine steel wool? A little brass bristled brush? |

Scrub it out with naphtha and a fine tooth brush. |

Thanks. My default plan of steel wool and elbow grease did the trick. But from now on, masking tape isn't coming off until buffing is done! What a PITA! |
