#10 is in the books. BRW / Adi, curly maple binding. Engraved Waverly tuners. Buffalo horn nut and bridge. Now that the photo shoot is done (thanks to my son Jason) I'll be installing a LR Baggs Anthem pickup for its new owner. Double sides - 0.06" BRW & 0.04" Mahogany. This is my first BRW guitar and man oh man does it sound nice from the moment the strings are on. The owner also sprung for a custom Hoffee case. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I really like the inlet end graft. A butt joint with Maple is hard to get looking good. Is that .060 purfling on the binding and end graft? The miters look great. I didn't use BZ until #50 but it made me a believer as well. Nice job! |

I also like the shape very much. I think the wide rosette is very appealing on this guitar, too. It's a beauty. |

I like it... it's really tough to pull off a unique body shape that doesn't look odd or forced. To me yours looks quite graceful and natural... bravo! |

That shows real flair, Doug. Lovely work. Add another to the fans of your approach to the end graft. I'll be stealing that idea...or at least attempting to steal it. :-) |

I didn't use BZ until #50 but it made me a believer as well. Nice job! Thanks Terence - The end graft mitre is an idea I stole from I-can't-remember-who. Yes the purfling is 0.06" B/W. To others commenting on the body shape: I must give due credit to those who inspired the idea for this kind of shape: Michihiro Matsuda and Simon Fay. On my design both the neck and tail ends have a constant radius from left to right without flattening at the neck or tail block. This does make it a little more challenging to floss the neck-to-body joint perfectly but I've figured out how to do that without too much trouble. Thanks for the kind words. |

Wow a real beauty! Love the binding and shape. That set of BRW is really nice. I love the darkness of it. |
