Post subject:  A little help in pursuing a dream

Hey all,

If you can spare about 30 seconds, it would go a long way to helping me realize a dream of opening my own business. I was nominated to win a $5k website design/hosting package from a local company, and I'm one of three finalists.

If you would go to www.thejuvogroup.com/vote and vote for Dog Tired Guitars, it would help out a bunch. You can vote 4 times from each IP address, and you won't have to register for anything.

The new website will help me reach a larger audience as well as give my retail sales a shot in the arm. As we all know, it's difficult to develop any kind of business without a strong web presence, so I'm hoping the new website, in conjunction with everything else I have going on, will help to get me that much closer to opening a brick and mortar storefront.

Thank you for any support!

Roger

Voted. Up to 40%.

As an Oklahoma State alumn, very cool to see this happening in Stillwater (or Perkins :) ).

Thanks, Jake! My eventual plan is to open a full-scale production and retail facility in downtown Stillwater.

Oh, and I was the cover article for the O'Colly recently as well. http://www.ocolly.com/news/article_8228 ... s=og.likes

Thank you all for the support thus far. I just got word that it's now a dead heat. My closest competitor made up the 10% point lead I garnered yesterday. It'll all be done by 5pm tomorrow, so I could really use another big boost today. Please feel free to vote again and share with your friends on FB.

This is it!! The last day!!! We've come this far, people, and we shall not be defeated here!! Now get out there and vote! Share this on facebook and tag ALL your friends! Call them out by name!! Chastise and embarrass them if they've not voted!! For now is OUR time!! NOW is the time to stand up for everyone who's DOG TIRED!!

Let's show this world that even though we're tired, we still get @%$& done!! Who'll follow me into the fray?!! Who's got the chutzpah to say, "Ok, yeah. I kinda know this guy, and it only takes a second, so whatever. I'll vote."?

And with THAT determination we will win!! We will forge our victory in the fires fueled by the stuff our enemies left behind in their hasty retreat (except for the good stuff. We'll keep that because burning it would be silly)!!
Now go to http://www.thejuvogroup.com/vote and vote 4 times for Dog TIred!!... before 5pm central

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Well, gang. We came up just short. I can't tell you how much I appreciate all the effort you fine folks put into helping me out, though. We gave it everything we had, so in the end, I have to resign myself to knowing that it just wasn't supposed to go to me. It'll take a few days for the sting of defeat to wear off, though. I REALLLLLY hate to lose  .

But again, thank you all, sincerely, for the effort. That kind of support for a budding business is very heartening indeed.

Roger
