How long do I have to wait to buff out EM6000? In the past I have waited about a month, but I'm wondering if I have to wait that long. So, is it better to wait longer to buff in order for the the material to harden or is it not necessary to wait that long? Thanks, Steve |

I've had good results at 5 days but try to restrain myself for 2 weeks. |

I wait 7-8 days. But in general, the longer the better. |

I have had the same experience as Michael - it should be "chemically" cured after 100 hours, and have had "decent" results buffing, but have found after some 30 or so guitars with this product that 2 weeks is preferable. |

I've only brushed it, and it takes a long time to harden. So if you brushed, wait as long as you can. From what I understand it behaves much better when sprayed. |

Thanks for the responses guys. I sprayed the finish on. Sounds like two weeks is an adequate amount of time to let the finish harden up. I plan to wet sand with lemon oil before buffing. I'll post my results... |
