I lost one of the tuner bushings for a Martin HD-28V that I am selling. Butterbean style tuners. It is a 2000 model. Does anybody know where I can find the correct replacement bushings? Thanks! Sondre |

Stewart MacDonald sells them. For a while Martin was installing the bushings with very small washers that in reality prevent the bushings from properly seating and often leads to the bushings falling out if you invert the instrument with no strings on it. The washers if your 28 was so equipped are best removed and then reseat the bushings with protective cauls, front and back and small C clamp until they are completely seated. These washers can rattle too and really have no justifiable purpose that we can determine. |
